Azerbaijan joins E5P

On 22 November 2019, Azerbaijan has official became a donor and a country of operation of the E5P fund. A contribution agreement was signed in London between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the EBRD as E5P fund manager. The Agreement was signed by Mr Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Sir Suma Chakrabarti, EBRD President. It is expected that other donors will join in supporting the E5P fund in Azerbaijan. A pipeline of suitable projects is being developed with the Government of Azerbaijan.
