Description

The overall objective of this project regarding energy efficiency in public buildings in Kiev through energy performance contracting, EPC, is primarily to implement cost and energy efficient projects and demonstrate EPC-possibilities available within the “old” legislation in force by the time of the E5P decision to fund the project. The project also aims at exhibiting in practice concrete legislative, administrative and other obstacles hampering the development of an EPC market in Ukraine.

The project is implemented using the contractual structures elaborated and additional technical assistance provided within the co-operation between the City of Kiev and the USAID. Sida is provding funding of implementation support.
