E5P Grant Agreement signed for NEFCO’s Energy Efficiency project in Georgia

E5P grant agreement in the amount of EUR 1.87 million and NEFCO loan were signed in Tbilisi on 4 July 2018.  NEFCO’s proposal for energy efficiency measures as well as renewables and alternative sources of energy supply in public buildings across Georgia is their first project in Georgia. The preparation of the project was financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Finance of Georgia Mr Nicoloz Gagua, the EU Ambassador in Georgia Mr Janos Herman, Swedish Ambassador to Georgia and Armenia, Ms Martina Quick, and representatives of the E5P contributors from Demark, Germany, Poland and Sweden.
