Better care for 30,000 patients

For decades, many of Moldova’s hospitals had gone without renovation. Patients faced cold, damp conditions while the hospitals struggled with energy bills.
‘Sfânta Treime’ is one of three hospitals in the capital of Moldova that has been upgraded with E5P’s help. 30,000 patients a year can now recover in warmth and dignity – while the hospitals save money and cut their carbon footprint – thanks to insulation, new windows and solar panels.
This work was part of a wider energy efficiency programme that has modernised 23 schools and hospitals across the capital. E5P donors are helping Moldova lower its energy use and provide people with safe and warm care and education.
