Improving energy efficiency in Moldovan public buildings

Russia's war in Ukraine continues to put pressure on Moldova – driving up energy prices and straining public finances.
On Wednesday, the E5P Steering Group discussed proposals for new energy efficiency upgrades in six schools across the country. These projects would help thousands of children learn in warmer, safer buildings, while lowering costs and cutting carbon emissions.
Backed by Nefco and E5P donors, the programme is part of a wider effort to strengthen Moldova’s energy resilience.
