Moldovans are famous for their hospitality

This was clear last week when we visited schools and day-care centres in several communities across central Moldova.
We received generous welcomes, with traditional dances, songs and homemade bread.
But many of these educational buildings were built decades ago and urgently need energy-efficiency upgrades.
Last week, together with Nefco, we proposed new projects that will renovate the schools here. They will also help strengthen these communities that welcomed us with such warmth.
